More about Kristin – Kristin is a poet and activist dedicated to anti-racist and anti-sexist education. Her first book Mules Fight Back is about an exploration/declaration of freedom and Black womanhood at the height of the Black Lives Matter Movement. She is currently working on her second book titled Water: about love, loss, and self esteem. She has been published in a couple different venues as well as through her own independent publishing company Pens Up Press. More about Fariso – Fariso is a playwright, actress, and activist committed to telling stories that matter. Her most prominent play, Georgia, explores different perspectives on sexual consent. Georgia has been performed Off Broadway and toured at theatres and colleges throughout the US and abroad. She is the founder of Setting the Stage which is a college preparation program for students of color which she started at Fordham University, her alma mater.
